Last call.. but not the last hurrah

As we enter Stage 4 Covid-19 Restrictions in metropolitan Melbourne I bring you some bad news. Along with so many other devastated Victorian businesses we may have to close our doors as of 7:00pm Wednesday 5th of August for the 6 weeks of lock down. As we continue to enter these uncertain times it is clear this pandemic and its spread is not going anyway without a big effort from all of us. Chiropractic like many other allied health care services were considered essential services during Stage 3 restrictions but this status has now changed. Under the new directive of the Victorian Government and the Department of Health and services (DHS) all private Allied Health practices (Chiro, Physio, Osteo, massage etc) will have to cease face to face appointments with patients, unless you have a GP or Medical specialist referral or are from a vulnerable population group. We are still seeking clarification on the matter and and will continue to update you, but at this point in time it looks very likely we will close, that said we are available in practice all day Wednesday 5th August 8:00am - 7:00pm, if you would like get in for an adjustment before we close give the practice a call on 9857 8807 , email us or book online via our website. If you live just outside our 5km radius, don't worry you are entitled to travel for health care and should you get stopped you can provide your appointment booking confirmation as proof if necessary.

The following measures are still in place for the safety of all that enter our practice:

Wearing a mask or face covering is now mandatory in the practice
Utilise the hand sanitizer provided at reception or in the treatment rooms; Alternatively you can use the bathroom facilities to wash your hands before your appointment.
While we appreciate punctuality please do not enter the practice until your scheduled time or until instructed to do so. We want to adhere to social distancing and avoid any congestion in the reception.
If for any reason you feel unwell, show signs of cough, cold, flu or fever symptoms please contact us prior to your appointment.
If you have been to a Hospital, a Nursing home or had contact with return travellers or a positive case of Covid-19 please contact us first before attending your appointment.
The practice and all its staff maintain strict infection control measures by washing our hands before and after every appointment, we will wipe down and disinfect all treatment tables and all high traffic areas within the practice.
If you're feeling anxious or unsure about attending your appointment please do let us know if you wish to postpone or change your appointment as others may want to utilise that time slot.
